SNS Week of 7/15/2018

Well, it looks like we are way behind again.   Probably because I've been busy very frequently and music gets put on the back burner.  But there's a reason for it this time which I will reveal in the next blog or two.    I prepared this SNS 100 back during the third week of July but only now am I getting the opportunity to publish this.

"This Girl" by Kungs remains at the top spot five a small lead over Florence + the Machine's "Hunger" which holds in the runner-up spot.   Coming on strong are the latest by Tennis, "My Emotions are Blinding", and The Big Takeover's "Rainboots".  Cigarettes After Sex's "Apocalypse" moves 13-8, becoming the El Paso,Texas band's second top 10 as "K" reached #9 earlier this year. Union County New Jersey's The Doughboys, New York's Dreamers, and Baltimore's Beach House also enter the top 20.  It's the second each for the former two, and the fifth for The Beach House.

Walk the Moon, one of the few "rock" (and I use that term rather loosely in the 2010's as it's not the rock I grew up with, but still....), have the top debut with "Kamakaze", followed by The Joy Formidable with "The Wrong Side".

I never like to combine weeks in blogs, but I must do so again to catch up.   But there will be a more fuller blog to talk about.   Hang in there!
