Very late blog, thus it will be brief. "All My Friends" by The Revivalists, holds on to a third week at #1 despite losing points. It's not a close lead over "Shame" by Elle King and "Time" by Real Estate which switch positions 2 and 3. All three songs are within five points apart and any of them can take the crown next week.
As expected last week, Imagine Dragons' get their first SNS Top 20 as "Natural" advances 22-16. As for the new entries, Amy Shark, coming off a #2 SNS hit with "Adore" earlier this year, is back with "I Said Hi". It's from her first full-length album Love Monster, coning in at #71.
Other debuts are by artists who have made a prior impact on the SNS 100: Metric's "It's Now Or Never Now", the follow to their #13 "Dark Saturday"; Jade Bird follows her #73 "Lottery" with "Uh Huh"; Sharon Van Etten, who had a #8 SNS hit in 2012 with "Serpents", comes in with the aptly-named "Comeback Kid", a recent Brian Sniatkowski "song of the week"; Mike Posner, of "Cooler Than Me" and "I Took A Pill in Ibiza" fame with an unlikely Alternative chart song this time, the hip-hoppish "Song About You"; Django Django, with "Swimming At Night", and finally Halsey, who hails from Edison, NJ and has much pop success, with "Without Me". Despite her being a Jersey girl and her popularity, this is only her third entry here, following her featured slot on the Billboard #1 "Closer" with The Chainsmokers (#36 here). Her only prior solo slot had been "New Americana", #94 in 2015.
